Teaching

Prioritizing student engagement and critical thinking is a cornerstone of his teaching approach.

Flipped Classroom

In addition to traditional teaching methods, Hak Yin implements innovative flipped classroom techniques, notably through in-class discussions utilizing SWOT analysis as a tool for comprehending globalization, and immersive simulations of Model UN, Model APEC and Model COP for international relations courses. Students actively engage in role-playing exercises representing various nations and stakeholders, allowing them to participate deeply in complex diplomatic negotiations and policy-making processes. These simulations not only enhance understanding of international relations dynamics but also foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for navigating global challenges.
